The Corbo family has a long history in diamonds and jewelry that started in Naples, Italy dating back to the 1800's. Our great grandfather brought the family trade to Newark, NJ, and established our "roots" in the jewelry business in North Jersey. Our Grandfather expanded the business to four stores. The Willowbrook store opened in Wayne in 1969.

In 1978, his son, Michael branched out from Corbo Jewelers and founded Michael Anthony Jewelers. Building on the success of the Willowbrook store, which was there for 50 years, we opened in West Caldwell in 1993.

During this time, Michael Corbo Jr. joined the business and took it to another level by creating and manufacturing many of our own pieces. By doing that, we are capable of making items for less; and passing on those savings to our customers.

In 2020, we incorporated our Willowbrook store and expanded our West Caldwell store and Michael's sister Lisa, who is a Gemologist, also joined the company.
